Her practice was focused on healthcare transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, as well as regulatory and operational issues for healthcare providers and companies.

Chelsey then moved in-house with SpecialtyCare, a privately held, private equity-backed management company and the largest perfusion and intraoperative neuromonitoring services provider in the United States, where she served as Associate General Counsel managing the company’s third party reimbursement claims and dispute process, as well as handling healthcare regulatory and operations matters, licensure and enrollment issues, litigation, complex contract negotiations, labor and employment matters, physician employment agreements, corporate governance, and day-to-day business operations.

Chelsey then moved to USPI, the outpatient ambulatory surgery center and surgical hospital management division of Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC), serving as Senior Operations Counsel and Senior Managing Counsel for Operations.
